22-24 Aug.’16: Svanubhava @ Kalakshetra, Chennai

Svanubhava is an annual festival organized in Chennai and other cities to celebrate Indian art forms, and expose students/others to various performing arts. This festival also offers a platform for interaction and learning between practitioners of multidisciplinary art forms.

Venue: Rukmini Arangam, Kalakshetra, Chennai.

Dates: Aug. 22 to Aug. 24, Mon – Wed, 2016.

In this festival various cultural performances are scheduled to take place, including: Mohiniattam, Carnatic/Hindustani Vocal, Bharatanatyam,  Namasankirtanam, Nadhaswaram, Chitraveena, Violin, Mrudangam, Ganjeera, Tavil, Ghatam, Tamil play, documentary movie discussion, etc.

The organizers have also planned evening workshops at 4 P.M. for Music, Dance, Art & Creativity, etc. If you are in Chennai, don’t miss this three-day arts extravaganza!
