Arya Samaj Chennai is organizing the Gayatri Maha Yajna at DAV Girls School, Gopalapuram, Chennai – 86 from January 1 to 8, 2017. Anyone can attend. You can also perform the Yajna on one of the days along with a select few – prior registration through phone or email is recommended for this. Previous experience of performing yajna/havan is not required. Details here.

Gayatri Mahayagna is the flagship event of Arya Samaj where a scholar and bhajnik (musician) are invited for discourse and people perform Havan/Yajna. The event seeks to help people understand Vedic philosophy and obtain answers to questions on God, True Worship, Happiness & Peace.
This year, there will be discourses by renowned Vedic Scholars like Dr. Vedpal ji & Pandit Jagat Varma ji.
